As a recent graduate, the same basic philosophy applies, but you can also look forward to opportunities that are truly worldwide.  Although most internships are focused around our four central business segment locations in Wisconsin, Minnesota,  Pennsylvania and Maryland, recent college graduates have nationwide and even worldwide employment possibilities, depending on our current business requirements.

Recent graduates hit the ground running in their respective functional area, quickly learning the operation through a combination of on-the-job training, specialized formal training, and a personalized professional development model that looks beyond that initial job.

As with our interns and co-ops, new college hires are quickly assimilated into the ranks of our full-time employees, assuming tasks, projects and responsibilities that are, in many companies, reserved for more tenured employees.  Not at Oshkosh Corporation!

Oshkosh Corporation is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.

Starting off as an intern really gave me a great jumpstart to my career. With early exposure to the business, I was able to gain hands-on learning out of the classroom, which helped solidify my career decisions. After beginning with JLG full-time after graduation, I was able to see the endless opportunities for advancement that Oshkosh Corporation has to offer. The value that the entire organization contributes to the internship program, as well as promoting further education of its current employees, makes this an excellent environment for college students and new grads looking for a challenging career.
